Dr. Jason Stamper

Dr. Jason Stamper

Principal, FCS Middle College

Dr. Jason Stamper is a native of Baltimore, Maryland and a product of the Baltimore City and Baltimore County School Systems. He attended Morgan State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. He also attended the University of West Georgia, where he earned two advanced degrees, a Master of Education degree in Business Education and a Doctor of Education degree in School Improvement.

Dr. Stamper has experience working in various capacities throughout his 24 years in education. He began his career as a CTAE Teacher in the Cobb County School System before transitioning to the Fulton County School System. Dr. Stamper served over 11 years at Tri-Cities High School in various capacities, including Marketing Teacher, where he was honored as Georgia’s New Marketing Teacher of the Year, CTAE Department Chairperson, DECA Advisor, Coordinator for Smaller Learning Communities and Curriculum Assistant Principal. While serving as CTAE Department Chairperson, Dr. Stamper led both the Marketing and Business Education programs to their initial Industry Certifications. He also served on Georgia Department of Education’s Curriculum Revision Team for CTAE and as the Central Region Director for the Georgia DECA Board.

Dr. Stamper then joined the Atlanta Public School System to serve as the Academy Leader for the Center for Engineering and Applied Technology at Frederick Douglass High School. After one year in this position, he was promoted to Principal of Carver High School – School of Technology. In June of 2014, Dr. Stamper rejoined Fulton County Schools as Principal of Woodland Middle School. Through relentless hard work and partnerships with all stakeholders, Woodland Middle School’s CCRPI score improved from 52.1 to 74.6. Additionally, Woodland’s school climate score increased from one star to four stars.

In December of 2019, Dr. Stamper was named principal of Banneker High School in College Park, GA. He was extremely excited about leading Banneker High School and the community to even greater heights as he had been a vital part of the community for the past five years as principal of Woodland Middle School, Banneker High School’s primary feeder school. Since this time, Dr. Stamper has led Banneker High School to unprecedented heights. Even amid the pandemic and less than ideal academic conditions, Banneker High School’s graduation rate has increased by 5.8% over the last two years to reach 82.8%, the highest in school history. Relationships and culture have always stood at the bedrock of Dr. Stamper’s success as a leader. Each year he has established a culture of high expectations as well as meaningful and boundless relationships with all stakeholders, both internal and external. The community has always been a true partner with him in this work.

On a personal note, his wife, Richele Stamper, is also an educator and their three children, Jasmyn, Jada, and Jason Jr. are all products of the Fulton County School System.


Tarika Peeks

Tarika Peeks

Executive Director, Operational Planning

Tarika Peeks is a focus-driven planning professional with experience in land use, policy development, public engagement, and short and long-range planning. She started her planning career in 2005 as a Planner with Fulton County Government and in 2014 she transitioned to the City of Fairburn where she effectively led the city’s Planning and Zoning Department. As the Director of Planning and Zoning, Tarika guided several successful planning projects, such as an audit and rewrite of the city’s Zoning Ordinance, the establishment of a public art program through the creation of a Creative Placemaking Strategy, initiated and managed the development of the city’s Geographical Information System (GIS), and Downtown Master Plan to strategically guide the revitalization of the downtown corridor. Currently, Tarika is the Planning Division Director for Gwinnett County’s Planning and Development Department. She is responsible for providing leadership and management of short and long-range planning, zoning administration, and data analysis functions within the department.

Tarika is a proud graduate of Georgia State University where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Urban Studies with a specialization in Planning and Economic Development. She also holds a Master of Science degree in Management from Troy University. She is a member of the American Planning Association and Arts Leaders of Metro Atlanta Class of 2021.


Lamarr Glenn

Lamarr Glenn

Director, Athletics

Mr. Lamarr Glenn is a native of Ormond Beach, Florida, moving to Georgia in 2014. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Florida State University, a Master’s in Business Administration from Saint Leo University, and an Education Specialist in Leadership degree from Berry College. Mr. Glenn is completing his twentieth (20th) year in education and seventeenth (17th) as an Athletic Director. He began his teaching career with Palm Beach County Schools as a fifth-grade teacher at Lincoln Elementary (Riviera Beach, Florida). From there, he would serve nine (9) years of his career with Orange County Public Schools, the first year and a half as a Special Education teacher and Assistant Athletic Director at Olympia High School (Orlando, Florida) and the last seven and a half years as the Athletic Director at Wekiva High School (Apopka, Florida), which he had the privilege to open in 2007. During his time at Wekiva High School, he would serve on numerous state and local committees, including the Florida High School Athletic Association Sectional Appeals Committee for six (6) years.

Mr. Glenn moved to Atlanta in 2014, accepting the position of Athletic Director at Banneker High School. While at Banneker HS, he was named the 2016 GADA Region 6-AAAAA Athletic Director of the Year.

After two successful years at Banneker High, Glenn then moved to North Springs Charter High School. Mr. Glenn is an active member of the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association. He won the NIAAA Distinguished Service Award for the state of Georgia in 2021. He is a current member of the NIAAA Awards Committee. Also, he is a member of the NIAAA LTI National Faculty. He was named Georgia Selection by Bound Athletics as one of the 50 Most Influential Athletic Administrators.

Mr. Glenn was a four-year letterman of the Florida State University Football team from 1994-1998 seasons. He was named Offensive Team Captain in 1998. He went on to be drafted in the sixth (6th) round of 1999 NFL Draft by the Tampa Bay Bucs.
