Director, IT Program Management

Nicole James is a results-driven Project Management Professional with 19+ years of experience in IT, specializing in planning and delivering creative solutions to meet customer and company objectives. She has expertise in the software development lifecycle, vendor and contract management, and business process improvement. As a Technical Project Manager at Kaman Corporation, Nicole is responsible for designing and administering IT and IT-related initiatives, negotiating and interacting with cross-functional departments to influence IT decision-making, and contributing to implementing process changes, resulting in enhanced productivity and efficiency. Working with the City of Hartford and Hartford Schools, Nicole increased project performance by leveraging Project Management and Change Management standards and tools. At Travelers Companies, Nicole demonstrated project management expertise by developing, planning, executing, and updating project and resource plans to maximize the likelihood of achieving the desired result. Nicole has a track record of success in project management and ensuring customer satisfaction via world-class project delivery.
