Rashida Armstrong

Mrs. Ayanna E. Demery is honored and excited to join the Brookview Elementary School community as its new principal. A dedicated, student-centered leader with over 23 years of experience in education, she is known for her warm demeanor, collaborative spirit, and unwavering commitment to student success.

Ms. Flandecia Richards-Boyles is an accomplished education and technology professional leader with 20 years of experience in K–12 education, student information systems, and IT support.  She holds a B.S. in Public Health from Temple University and an M.Ed. in School Counseling from the University of West Alabama. She is known for her strategic leadership, collaborative approach, and commitment to improving educational outcomes through data-driven solutions.

Rashida Armstrong

We are excited to announce Laura Butler as the new Principal of Crabapple Crossing Elementary School, effective July 1, 2025. Laura is a proud product of Fulton County Schools, having graduated from Roswell High School. She brings nearly two decades of experience in education, supported by a strong foundation in instructional leadership. She is deeply committed to cultivating a supportive, inclusive school culture while fostering academic excellence for all students.

Monica L. Roberts is a native of Savannah, GA, who has dedicated over 17 years to middle school education as a teacher, leader, and district support specialist. Having served as the assistant principal at Sandtown Middle School, Ms. Roberts brings a wealth of experience and insight into the unique needs and strengths of the school’s students and teachers.

Darrell L. Stephens is a passionate and dedicated educator with over 25 years of experience as a teacher, instructional coach, and principal. He is thrilled to continue supporting the rich tradition, culture, and community of Langston Hughes High School.

I am honored to serve as the principal of the best middle school in South Fulton. I look forward to working alongside dedicated and top performing educators and students. I graduated from Georgia Southern University in 2003 and began my education career as a middle grades English/Language Arts teacher. In 2006, I joined Fulton County Schools where I served as a classroom teacher at Sandtown Middle School and Renaissance Middle School. I have also served as an Assistant Administrator at Renaissance Middle School as well as an Assistant Principal at Haynes Bridge Middle School and Langston Hughes High School.

Keenan Cameron

Mr. Keenan Cameron, a proud Atlanta native and graduate of North Clayton High School in College Park, Georgia, brings a wealth of experience and passion for education. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and Spanish from Georgia Southern University, a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership and Development from Mercer University, a Master of Teaching in Secondary Literature, and an Education Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction from LaGrange College.

Jovita Wallace

Mrs. Jovita Wallace has been named the next principal of Woodland Middle School beginning at the conclusion of this school year. Mrs. Jovita Wallace brings more than 24 years of experience in education to her new role as Principal of Woodland Middle School.

Miranda Freeman - Congratulations!

Miranda Freeman, originally from Terre Haute, Indiana, has an extensive background in education, including her role as principal of Sandtown Middle School in Fulton County, Georgia. With over 20 years of experience, she has taught in urban Title I schools from Pre-K through eighth grade. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Indiana State University, a master’s in Reading from the University of West Georgia, a Gifted Certification, and a Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership from Lincoln Memorial University.

Jennifer Rosenthall - Congratulations!

Ms. Rosenthall began her teaching career in Fulton County at Spalding Drive Elementary School. Here she taught both general and special education over the course of 6 years. Ms. Rosenthall began her leadership journey as an instructional support teacher in the Central Learning Community. She then went on to serve as an assistant principal at Creek View Elementary and Ocee Elementary.

Brandi Nichols - Congratulations

Mrs. Nichols is a veteran educator with over 18 years of experience. She joined Fulton County Schools in 2012 as a fourth-grade teacher at Oak Knoll Elementary. For the past two years, she has been serving as the principal at Parklane Elementary in Fulton County Schools. Prior to this role, Mrs. Nichols spent seven years as an assistant principal in South Fulton and Roswell.

Montreal Bell is a native of North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and a graduate of the University of South Carolina where she earned her undergraduate degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, Early Childhood Education. She began her teaching career in South Carolina in 1994 but moved to the Atlanta area in 1995...

Dr. Aja Wilkins - Welcome!

Aja Wilkins, originally from New York City, completed most of her schooling in Orlando and Tallahassee, Florida. With over 18 years of experience in education, Dr. Wilkins has recently served as an Elementary School Principal. She has been instrumental in closing the gap within the Special Education subgroup, reducing discipline occurrences through PBIS implementation, and increasing Math and ELA proficiency by an average of 8%.

Kim Cerasoli - Welcome!

Kim Cerasoli is a highly accomplished educational leader with extensive experience in school administration, instructional leadership, and organizational transformation. Since 2013, she has served as a principal in the Cherokee County School District, guiding Indian Knoll Elementary and Woodstock Elementary to significant academic achievements, statewide recognition and national awards.

Tomeka Billingsley - Congratulations!

Tomeka Billingsley has worked in accounting/finance for over 30 years and in school district finance for over 22 years. She began her career in school business in the Pittsburgh Public School system. She has worked for Wilkinsburg and Woodland Hills school District in Pennsylvania.

Jamila Hazel - Welcome!

Jamila Hazel is a seasoned architect and construction professional with over 20 years of experience across a wide range of sectors, including multi-family residential, healthcare, industrial, education, retail, mixed-use, civic, hospitality, science and technology, community development, and historic preservation.

Stephanie Slewitzke - Congratulations!

Mrs. Stefi Slewitzke brings 17 years of teaching and leadership experience in Fulton County Schools to her new role as principal of Summit Hill Elementary School. She began her career in Houston, Texas, after graduating from Baylor University. After relocating to Atlanta, she taught at Mountain Park Elementary.

Haaris Quraishy

Jacqueline (Jacque) Smith is a native of Atlanta, Georgia and is a product of the Fulton County School System. After graduating from Creekside High School, she obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Albany State University. Jacque continued her education at the University of Phoenix where she received her Master of Business Administration Degree.

Dea Kunovac - Congratulations!

Dea Kunovac has been with Fulton County Schools for 3.5 years, serving first as a Program Specialist and most recently as Coordinator in CTAE. She is an experienced educator and leader, committed to equity in education. Dea is a strong relationship-builder and a champion for students. She holds a bachelor's (Georgia State University) and master's degree (University of Georgia) in education, a specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction (Piedmont University), and a Tier I Leadership Certificate (Piedmont University).

Haaris Quraishy

Mr. Haaris Quraishy has been a teacher and leader in Fulton County Schools for 16years and is excited to bring his deep experience with secondary education to Northwestern Middle School as its new principal. He began his educational career at Chattahoochee High School and later Johns Creek High School teaching Special Education, before teaching social studies and serving as Chattahoochee High School’s graduation coach.

Stephanie Haga

Stephanie Haga has been with Fulton County Schools since 2005.  She started her career as a middle school teacher and spent 11 years inspiring her students to love learning. Her commitment to education led her to become a STEM Program Specialist, where she supported 21 FCS schools over four years, in math, science and STEM education.

Rako Morrissey

Dr. Rako Morrissey has dedicated the past 28 years to advancing educational excellence, with the last 13 years proudly spent serving Fulton County Schools. Her career began in the classroom, where she taught elementary and middle school students across Marietta City, Henry County, and Cobb County Schools. During this time, she honed her skills as an educator and built a strong foundation for her leadership journey.

Jill Osmerg

Ms. Jill Osmerg has proudly served in Fulton County for the last 12 years. With 22 years in education, she spent 11 years as a classroom teacher across various grade levels and settings. In 2013, Ms. Osmerg began her leadership journey as a Curriculum Support Teacher, followed by her role as Assistant Principal at Woodland Elementary. In 2021, she became the Assistant Principal at Abbotts Hill Elementary, where she has served for the past 3 years.

Ben Hopkins

Ben Hopkins has been the Director of Building and Maintenance for the Clayton County Board of Commissioners since 2017. In this role, he spearheaded the County’s first facility master plan, implemented its inaugural CMMS system, and managed the comprehensive cleaning of County buildings for safe reopening post-COVID-19 closures.
