Fulton County Schools Set the Bar in Student Achievement!
It has been an incredible year for Fulton County Schools (FCS)! From record-breaking graduation rates to top scores on college entrance exams, our students are showing what is possible with hard work, support, and opportunity.
Graduation Rate Hits Historic High
In 2025, the district’s graduation rate soared to a record-breaking 91.9% - the highest in district history! This marks five straight years of growth and keeps Fulton well ahead of state and national averages.
SAT Scores Surge with Increased Participation
More than 5,100 FCS students took the SAT this year - the highest number since 2019! Despite the rise in participation, students achieved an average score of 1076, outperforming the state average by 47 points and the national public-school average by 80 points. Fulton was the only metro Atlanta district to grow its test-taking population while maintaining superior performance.
ACT Leadership Continues
FCS also led Georgia in ACT participation and performance for the ninth consecutive year. In 2025, nearly 4,000 Fulton students took the college entrance exam making up more than 17% of all ACT test-takers in Georgia. We are expanding college readiness opportunities for all students and ensuring they are well-prepared for post-secondary success.
Together, these accomplishments reflect a district-wide commitment to excellence and a shared belief that every Fulton student can achieve great things.
