Milton HS Sets the Rhythm on Worldwide Stage

FCS is in the news! Westlake High School recently made headlines when a pair of seniors who earned millions in scholarship money for college were featured in a story airing on WSB 2. Consistency Leads to Team's First State Championship

New Full-Day Summer Learning Program

Registration is now open until May 24 for the free Summer Learning program, where students can recover credits during the time between school years. Acceleration courses require tuition. This year we have added a full-day elementary program that includes breakfast/lunch, transportation, and summer enrichment options. SGC Election Declaration Window Closes March 29

Play a critical role in the success of our schools! The window for parents to declare candidacy for their school's School Governance Council closes on March 29. During this time, individuals interested in serving a 2-year term (July 1, 2024 - June 30, 2026) will be able to complete a Candidate Declaration Form. Voting will take place in April.

Pre-Kindergarten Lottery Application Closes March 8

The lottery application for students who would like a seat in the Pre-K classroom for the 2024-2025 school year closes on March 8. Individual school lotteries will be held March 25-27 with notification from schools to parents by the end of the day on March 29. SAT Participation Up; Scores Beat State/National

Fulton County Schools (FCS) increased student participation in taking the SATs for 2023 graduating seniors with a growth of 170 students or 6%. Since the pandemic, participation and academic achievement levels have steadily risen to approach pre-pandemic levels. Additionally, district students outperformed their peers on state and national levels, besting the Georgia average score by 40 points and the U.S. score by 82 points. Read more
