Tiffany Plowden is an experienced educational leader with over 18 years in Fulton County Schools, serving as a teacher leader, school improvement coach, assistant principal, and coordinator of intervention services. Throughout her career, she has focused on strengthening instructional practices and building systems that support school improvement and student success.
In her district leadership role, Ms. Plowden has led the development and implementation of comprehensive professional learning aligned to intervention and multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS). She designed and facilitated a districtwide professional development series to support school leaders in implementing the Intervention Services Standard Operating Procedure, resulting in improved systems coherence, accountability, and an increase of more than $10 million in FTE funding. She also led the launch of more than 120 MTSS positions across the district, supporting these roles through year-long professional learning and coaching focused on intervention, school improvement, and instructional leadership.
Ms. Plowden is passionate about developing educators, building sustainable systems, and ensuring all students have access to high-quality, evidence-based instruction that drives achievement. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, reading, listening to podcasts, and watching college football.
