Ms. Taccara Reid is an experienced educational leader with over a decade of leadership experience in Fulton County Schools, where her career in education began. Throughout her tenure, she has led teams across multiple levels and remains deeply committed to service while strengthening systems that support student achievement and long-term success. She believes meaningful progress happens when individuals work together toward a shared purpose and that strong outcomes are built through collaboration, trust, and a collective commitment. This philosophy has guided her work in serving the students, staff, and community of Fulton County Schools for the past 17 years.

Guided by the belief that “leadership is not about having all the answers, but about creating the conditions for others to succeed,” Ms. Reid prioritizes building strong partnerships and creating opportunities that empower students to thrive both in school and beyond the classroom. She is passionate about building relationships and ensuring that students are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and experiences necessary for success in life.

A lifelong learner, Ms. Reid actively seeks out innovative practices in education to continually grow as a leader. Ms. Reid received her bachelor’s degree in Middle Grades Education from Clayton State University, Master of Science in Middle Grades Education from Walden University. Ms. Reid is also currently pursuing an Education Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in Educational Leadership at Georgia State University, with an anticipated completion date of December 2026.

Outside of her professional role, she is a proud mother of three children: her son, who serves in the United States Navy; her daughter, who attends Florida A&M University; and her youngest daughter, who is preparing to enter her final year of middle school. She treasures time with her family, which remains a vital source of inspiration and grounding in her life.
