Lauren Malekebu brings more than 26 years of experience in K-12 education - serving as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, mentor, and district and school administrator throughout Orange County Public Schools (Florida), Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools (North Carolina), and most recently in Fulton County Schools as the principal of Haynes Bridge Middle School since 2011. Under her leadership, Haynes Bridge Middle School has achieved high academic performance and growth as measured by CCRPI, is recognized as a GA Beating the Odds School, and a PBIS Distinguished school.  Her focus on ensuring high levels of learning for each student has enabled her to build a culture of excellence, strengthen instructional practices, and create systems that support meaningful growth and success for every learner.
