Erin Nusnbaum - Congratulations!

Erin Nusnbaum
Executive Director of the Office of the Superintendent
Erin Nusnbaum is an experienced leader who began her career with Fulton County Schools as a classroom teacher. She has spent nearly 20 years serving the district in a variety of school- and district-level leadership roles.
She currently serves as Director of Policy Management in the Office of the Superintendent. In this role, Erin has led high-priority district initiatives, coordinated complex cross-divisional work, managed the policy process with the Board of Education, and helped create opportunities for employees, families, students, and community members to provide meaningful feedback on district work.
Erin is drawn to work that brings people together, makes sense of complex challenges, and turns ideas into clear, workable systems. Her approach is grounded in a strong belief that district-level efforts should make the day-to-day work better and more manageable for schools, leaders, staff, and, most importantly, students.
Erin has earned a Master of Management Studies in Public Education Management from the Yale School of Management, an Education Specialist in Educational Leadership from Georgia State University, and a Master of Education in Elementary Education from the University of Florida.
Outside of work, Erin enjoys spending time with her husband, Matt, and their two children, Ezra, a sixth grader, and Ella, a second grader. She can often be found cheering from the sidelines at her kids' soccer games, taking a walk or hike, or reading a good book.
