Charles Chester is a collaborative, data focused leader that believes every student can experience growth and be guided by road maps to success. Chester has proudly served Fulton County Schools for thirteen years as a teacher, administrator, assistant principal, and principal. His positive impact spans the corners of our district from Fairburn to Milton. 

Chester began his career in education in 2005 as a high school math teacher. He joined Fulton County Schools in 2008. While at Woodland Middle School, he was named Teacher of the Year. He was named NWLC Assistant Principal of the Year at Alpharetta High School and NWLC Principal of the Year at Northwestern Middle School. Chester most recently served as principal at Langston Hughes High School in Fairburn.

Chester received his bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Albany State University, master’s degrees from Kennesaw State University and Columbus State University and a Specialist of Educational Leadership degree from NOVA Southeastern University.

Chester loves spending time with his family, especially his wife Kalessia and dog Maison. He also loves to eat, travel, and listen to music.
