Ashley Perry - Congratulations!

Ashley Perry
Principal, State Bridge Crossing Elementary School
It is truly an honor to join the State Bridge Crossing Elementary School community as your new principal. I am incredibly excited to become part of a school with such a strong tradition of excellence, a supportive community, and a deep commitment to student success.
With over sixteen years of experience in education and school leadership, I bring a deep passion for teaching and learning, along with a commitment to creating an environment where every student can thrive. Most recently, I have served as assistant principal at Autrey Mill Middle School, where I partnered with staff and families to support student achievement, strengthen school culture, and lead key initiatives focused on instructional improvement and student success. Prior to that, I served as an instructional coach and classroom teacher in Fulton County Schools, experiences that shaped my belief in the power of strong relationships, high expectations, and collaborative teamwork.
My leadership is grounded in the core values of authenticity, transparency, curiosity, joy, and empathy. I believe that when we lead with these values, we create a school environment where students feel safe and inspired, teachers feel supported, and families feel truly connected. I am committed to fostering a culture where every child is challenged, encouraged, and celebrated.
I also firmly believe that it takes a village to support our students, and I look forward to building strong partnerships with our staff, families, and community. In the weeks ahead, my priority will be to listen, learn, and connect by hearing your perspectives, celebrating your successes, and working together toward our shared vision for excellence.
On a personal note, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Jason, and our two children, Brooks and Avery Kay. I love reading, traveling, and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs. I am excited to not only serve this community, but to become a meaningful part of it.
