Amanda Stafford is a dedicated educational leader with a strong commitment to student growth, effective instructional practices, and the development of meaningful relationships within school communities. She brings a diverse range of educational experiences, having served as a middle school mathematics teacher, graduation coach, and, most recently, assistant principal at Esther Jackson Elementary School. For the past 12 years, she has proudly served students and families in the Sandy Springs and Roswell communities.
Throughout her career, Ms. Stafford has focused on creating systems that support all students while ensuring that each child is met at their individual level and empowered to grow academically and socially. Her leadership has contributed to measurable improvements in student achievement, including gains in reading proficiency, English language development, and overall school performance. She has also led initiatives to strengthen school culture, resulting in the school earning PBIS Distinguished recognition.
Equally important to her is the role of relationships in building a thriving school community. Ms. Stafford believes schools are strongest when families, staff, and community partners work collaboratively. She is committed to fostering a welcoming environment in which all stakeholders feel valued, heard, and connected.
Ms. Stafford is deeply committed to ensuring that every student develops the skills, confidence, and love of learning necessary for future success. She is honored to serve the Mimosa Elementary School community and looks forward to partnering with students, families, staff, and community members to continue building upon the school’s strong foundation while supporting the growth and success of every child.
