Fulton County Schools (FCS) proudly announces a new milestone with a 90.7% graduation rate, the highest ever recorded for the district. This marks an increase from last year’s 90.3% and the fourth consecutive year of record-breaking success. The district’s impressive graduation rate not only sets a new standard for FCS but also stands as one of the highest rates in the metro Atlanta area, underscoring the district’s commitment to educational excellence.

“Reaching our highest graduation rate for the fourth year in a row is a testament to the hard work of our students, teachers, and administrators,” Board President Kimberly Dove expressed with pride. “It reflects our commitment to providing a top-tier education that prepares students for success beyond high school.”

Key highlights:

  • A Perfect 100% Graduation Rate for Global Impact Academy: For the first time in the district’s history, Global Impact Academy achieved a flawless 100% graduation rate. This remarkable milestone places the school among the elite few across the state to reach this distinction.
  • 11 Schools Show Graduation Rate Improvements: Out of 19 high schools, 11 showed improvement in their graduation rates, demonstrating sustained academic progress across the district.
  • 15 Schools with Graduation Rates Above 90%: A total of 15 schools surpassed the 90% graduation rate threshold, showcasing consistent performance at the highest level.

Superintendent Dr. Looney added, “This achievement is not just about the numbers; it’s about the lives we’re changing. Every percentage point represents more students who are prepared for their next steps, whether it's college, a career, or serving their communities. We are incredibly proud of the direction Fulton County Schools is heading.”
